Buried Alive Project

Description

Buried Alive Project is a Dallas-based organization that fights to free people serving draconian sentences handed down under outdated federal drug law through transformative litigation, legislation and humanization. They provide legal representation for people buried alive under federal drug laws, advocate for impactful changes in the law and amplify the voices of people directly impacted by the criminal legal system. The Project has helped numerous people serving life without parole sentences, saving the lives of people who were set to never be free again. Through advocacy, they are pushing forward a movement of unveiling power, dignity, and human potential that our country has been locking away for decades.
