The Burlington Community Justice Center (CJC) is a public service organization that addresses the roots and impacts of crime and conflict so that everyone experiences dignity, safety, and justice in their communities. Increased accountability and support services are offered to individuals returning to the Burlington community following release from prison or jail. The Circles of Support and Accountability program provides a restorative approach to justice by supporting, building, and maintaining healthy living patterns for justice involved individuals. The Burlington CJC's Resource Navigation & Community Re-entry Support is a short-term service that assists those reentering the community after incarceration with their transition. A wide range of support services are offered to participants, including prioritization of needs, employment searches, and referrals to local agencies and social services.
