Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis
Description
Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis is a faith-based organization that serves children and families in Minnesota. Their mission is to promote equity, stability and spiritual growth for all members of the community regardless of background. To achieve this, volunteers and staff work with children, families and single adults who face barriers to independent living, especially those who face chronic housing insecurity. This may include children and families who at risk of eviction, as well as formerly incarcerated individuals who face barriers to permanent housing due to their criminal convictions. Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis maintains four physical locations: Dorothy Day Place, Higher Ground, Family Service Center and the Opportunity Center. These locations provide meals and housing assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness, as well as access to basic medical care for those in need.
