The Catoosa County Public Defender operates as a part of the Lookout Mountain Judicial District and serves indigent individuals. The Catoosa Public Defender has one office, which is located in Ringgold, Georgia. Together with a team of investigators and specialists, four Assistant Public Defenders provide quality defense to clients who cannot afford to obtain private defense services. Clients must request a public defender through the court in order to receive services through the Catoosa County Public Defender's office. Once appointed, public defenders ensure that all clients receive the necessary services guaranteed by their 6th Amendment rights.
