Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program
Description
The Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program is a private nonprofit organization that provides advocacy and legal services for low-income individuals. The attorneys at the Clark County Volunteer Program will review a client's criminal record in order to establish whether or not it can be vacated. If it can be vacated, the attorneys will provide the paperwork and advise individuals on how to vacate their records. In addition to their legal services, the program offers a courtroom readiness specialist who helps individuals prepare to go to court by themselves. Furthermore, the project works with social service organizations to bring legal aid directly to people experiencing homelessness. Located in Vancouver, Washington, the program offers assistance to those located in Clark County, Washington.
