Coalition For The Homeless, Inc.

Coalition for the Homeless is a community based organization committed to ending homelessness in the Washington, DC metro area. Their mission is to assist at risk individuals and those who experience chronic homelessness transition from temporary housing to permanent, self-sufficient living. They offer three categories of housing programs: permanent supportive housing, temporary housing programs for men, and emergency shelter services. Permanent supportive housing programs are designed for individuals who face ongoing barriers to self-sufficient living, and who require intensive case management throughout adulthood. Temporary housing programs for men are available to individuals experiencing housing emergencies, as well as those returning to the community after incarceration or exiting treatment centers. The Coalition for the Homeless also offers services to families with children and vocational services to adults reentering the workforce. For more information about specific services, individuals are encouraged to contact the organization directly using the information provided on this page.
