Community Action of Laramie County

Community Action of Laramie County is dedicated to reducing poverty in Laramie County. The empower individuals to achieve self-sufficiency through education, advocacy, intervention and community partnerships. They operate a number of programs geared towards creating a solid foundation for individuals who are struggling to find housing in Laramie County. These programs and services that help individuals who are struggling find an improved quality of life. Project Hope provides struggling individuals gain self sufficiency through personalized case management for their unique needs. Temporary housing can also be found through CALC, serving 35+ individuals with their 23 housing units. find The services that are available include intensive case management program, and traditional housing benefits. Crossroads Healthcare Clinic provides medical care for over three thousand people in need annually. VA Bridge Housing Program provides temporary housing for homeless veterans. Finally, their Kinship Support Services provides support to relative caregivers and assists with the filing of temporary guardianship papers.
