County of El Paso Reentry Support Services

Reentry Support Services (RSS) is a division of the County of El Paso Community Services Department. They aim to assist individuals transitioning from incarceration or detention back into the community to become self-supporting, productive citizens, reduce recidivism and improve public safety. The department's mission is to build trust, adapt to an evolving community, and provide families with a safe and healthy quality of life. Reentry Support Services provides Care Management (CM) services to justice-involved individuals reintegrating into the community, including, but not limited to, Screening and Assessment, Targeted Interventions, Transition Plans, Self-Evaluation and Sustainability. RSS Care Management is an individual/family-centered, strength-based approach that requires understanding the individual's underlying dynamics. Each participant is assigned to a Care Manager who will begin partnering with them, their families, and care teams in identifying their strengths and challenges while providing connections to community resources and support. Individuals are pre-screened for eligibility, then develop a reentry plan.
