Dress for Success Twin Cities

Dress for Success is a community based organization that works to help underserved individuals enter the workforce and gain financial security. Their goal is to empower women affected by generational trauma, economic discrimination and/or criminal justice so that they can achieve independence. Each woman receives individualized support as they navigate available job training and career planning workshops, as well as prepare to interview for permanent positions with local employers. Additionally, Dress for Success Twin Cities works to combat the stigmas associated with hiring individuals from impoverished or justice impacted backgrounds by working directly with employers to develop more inclusive hiring practices and more supportive policies. Staff understand that the key to erasing the impact of generational poverty requires that everyone in the community share in reform efforts.
