F.A.C.E. (Freedom Advocates Celebrating Ex-Offenders) Baltimore provides supportive and transitional housing for justice impacted individuals currently or pending release from correctional facilities. The mission of FACE, Inc. is to provide struggling people with a second chance dedicated to working with community partners to connect formerly incarcerated individuals to resources that build stability, support their well-being, and empower them to thrive. FACE, Inc. is designed for currently or previously released incarcerated individuals by providing guidance in selecting appropriate services; conducting monthly meetings, facilitating on-site educational classes, and providing referrals. Additionally, they assist with the application process for mainstream benefits and services such as mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, educational opportunities, and job training programs. FACE, Inc. provides a safe environment, with shared living spaces where individuals can learn daily living skills and receive a support network to help them transition back into mainstream society.
