Family Connections Center
Description
The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is charged with managing the state's correctional institutions, overseeing probation and parole, and providing advice on reducing crime and delinquency. Its Family Connections Center (FCC) is a family assistance program with many family resource centers. The group is to help incarcerated parents maintain their already strong bonds with their minor children or generate new, healthy relationships through education and support. The FCC, which contains all three New Hampshire State Prisons, has minimum security facilities connected to each offering family assistance programs. It maintains families together and connects them to family support programs in their areas, all while promoting healthy, entertaining activities for children to participate in with their incarcerated parent. FCC always understand the importance of helping families inside and outside prisons, where children and their careers reside. Please get in touch with the department directly for more details about their programs and services.
