Description
The Federal Public Defender for the District of Nevada's Las Vegas office is the main office for the state of Nevada. With one federal public defender and one assistant federal public defender working on staff, the District of Nevada's Las Vegas office specializes in court-appointed defense services in federal criminal cases to individuals unable to afford counsel. The Las Vegas office provides dedicated teams with command of federal practice in three distinct areas: trial/appeals, non-capital and capital habeas units. The trial and appellate units provide representation to indigent, court-appointed clients facing federal criminal charges.
