Healing Stone

Healing Stone is a community based organization offering targeted support to women returning to the community after incarceration. They prioritize women who are seeking treatment for substance abuse or mental health disorders, offering drug and alcohol abuse support as well as substance abuse evaluations. Staff understand that not every individual requires the same approach to treatment, so Healing Stone offers both intensive outpatient services and inpatient services. Additionally, the organization provides transitional living opportunities for formerly incarcerated women who are newly returning to the community. Those living in residence have access to all the treatment support services available through Healing Stone. Staff hope that this support will help them further their mission to ease the challenges associated with reintegrating into the community and break the cycle of incarceration for women in Nebraska's criminal justice system.
