JusticeWorks

JusticeWorks is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of programs and practices centered on restorative justice. They aim to develop safe, equitable resolutions and to help individuals repair the harms they have inflicted on others with a focus on accountability. Their Community Residential Program (CRP) is a program that partners with the Department of Corrections (DOC) to assist high-risk individuals re-enter the community through mentorship services. Participants live in housing arranged by the DOC and work directly with mentors to create strong relationships that promote honest communication and healing. JusticeWorks also works to reduce recidivism through the Volunteers in Probation program, which partners mentors with formerly incarcerated individuals to help them avoid re-entering the system. Individuals can enter the program through a referral by the Department of Corrections, or contact the organization directly for assistance.
