Liberty Behind Bars Ministry is a faith-based organization that works to provide spiritual counseling and support for incarcerated individuals. Their mission is to educate people inside correctional facilities about the Christian faith and the place of spiritual healing in personal development. All participants receive King James Version bibles and meet regularly to participate in bible study groups. Liberty Behind Bars works with individuals ahead of release to discuss job opportunities, housing options and faith centers outside the correctional facility. Formerly incarcerated individuals are eligible for in-home bible studies, as well as the families of newly released individuals. Potential participants can contact the program directly for information or to request ministry inside their correctional facility.
