Lutheran Social Services of Northwestern Ohio

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) of Northwestern Ohio is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health support and social services. With over five locations across Ohio, LSS aims to provide human services that will strengthen the mental, moral, physical, social and spiritual well-being of those who seek assistance. LSS supports formerly incarcerated individuals through its reentry program. The staff helps returning citizens with housing, employment, transportation, child support, social security, mental health and addiction treatment, parenting, driver’s license, and working with the courts. The reentry program helps those with a history with the court system and provides opportunities and services to reduce recidivism. This will allow participants to become wage-earning, tax-paying community members offering hope, purpose and integrity to formerly incarcerated individuals. Other services include behavioral health and counseling, drug and alcohol addiction counseling, emergency choice food pantry, employee assistance program, employer resource network, financial stability program and higher education.
