Massachusetts Appleseed Center for Law & Justice

Massachusetts Appleseed Center for Law & Justice

Description

Massachusetts Appleseed is a nonprofit public interest justice center. The centers work collectively and independently to build a society where opportunities are genuine, access to the law is universal and equal, and government advances the public interest. Their mission is to promote equal rights and opportunities for Massachusetts residents by developing and advocating for systemic solutions to social justice issues. The Massachusetts Appleseed center identifies and addresses issues particular to their communities. They then connect with private practice lawyers, corporate counsel, law schools, civic leaders, and other professionals to tackle these problematic social problems at their root causes. Their core values represent their organization’s deepest foundational beliefs and guide how they work towards achieving systemic change. Community Collaboration, Access to Justice and Opportunity for All, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Data-Driven Research are the core value of this organization towards which they work.
