The Missouri State Public Defender System (MSPD) Appellate/PCR Central District Division and the Capital Litigation Central District is located in Columbia. MSPD is a statewide system primarily comprised of three legal service divisions: the Trial Division, Capital Division, and Appellate/Post-Conviction Division.
