National Reentry Resource Center

National Reentry Resource Center (NRRC) is the nation’s primary source of information and guidance in reentry. The NRRC was established by the Second Chance Act. The Second Chance Act authorizes federal grants to government agencies and nonprofit organizations to provide reentry services—including employment assistance, substance use treatment, housing, family programming, mentoring, victims support, and other services—and to support corrections and supervision practices that aim to reduce recidivism. NRRC maintains a listing of all Second Chance Act grantees around the country to help people connect with potential service providers in their communities as well as a Helpline to assist those preparing for, experiencing, or working in reentry. Their community-based reentry program is a comprehensive reentry services to individuals who have been incarcerated. Following release from incarceration, participants will receive case management services and be connected to evidence-based programming designed to ensure that the transition from prison or jail to the community is safe and successful. For more information on the services the NRRC provides, please contact them directly.
