New Jersey Reentry Corporation (NJRC) is a nonprofit organization on a mission to remove barriers to employment for formerly incarcerated individuals. The core initiative of this New Jersey based business is to rehabilitate people reentering society and improve recidivism rates. Governor's Reentry training and Employment Centre is a training center offered by NJRC where individuals can build and improve upon their professional skills. Career building services include support from professional teams to access, prepare, and help implement career goals. NJRC examines participants to determine the best career paths and the necessary skill development for starting a profession. In addition to employment support services, NJRC also provides reentry services which include legal assistance, state and federal benefits, healthcare, referrals for housing, and more. All services are offered free of cost to reentering individuals, from certification acquisition to job placement.
