New Opportunities Organization

New Opportunities Organization (NOO) is a community based organization that provides support services to underserved communities. Program services include reentry aid, student support services, workforce development and educational services to justice involved individuals. They operate two schools that educate and empower marginalized students to improve their quality of life through career training, academic development and life skills. New Opportunities Charter School allows adult students to complete their high school diploma requirements. In addition, the institute collaborates with various community partners and workforce investment boards to assist individuals involved in the justice system. Through partnerships, NOO serves as the supportive service organization for the Prison to Employment Program. This program offers an opportunity for individuals with a history of incarceration to attain vocational training, education, career counseling and much more. Staff meets the various needs of students and community members, including counseling, specialized case management, financial literacy courses, and expungement workshops.
