Northeast Legal Aid

Northeast Legal Aid helps indigent and elderly individuals of Northeast Massachusetts attain justice and empowerment through deliberate, creative, and persistent advocacy for systemic justice reform and high-quality individual representation. NLA provides free civil legal services to low income and elderly community members and their loved ones in northeast Massachusetts. NLA offers full-service offices in Lynn, Lowell and Lawrence, Massachusetts. They also maintain an outreach office in Haverhill, Massachusetts that has limited walk-in hours. NLA's legal services include a broad swath of services from community legal education and representation and counseling, to full representation in complex litigation. Potential clients can use the Northeast Legal Aid website to navigate to the legal unit that most aligns with their needs. All clients must first meet with a team member to determine if they meet eligibility requirements established by the organization.
