Prince George’s County Re-Entry Process

Prince George's County Re-Entry Process is a divisional office of the Prince George Department of Public Safety. Their mission is to offer the chance for formerly incarcerated individuals to successfully reenter the community and access the services they require to be productive members of society. Eligible participants must demonstrate that they do not have pending charges with any county, and that they are returning to Prince George County after incarceration. All potential participants receive referrals from: Prince George County Department of Corrections, as well as any other correctional facility, government agency, or social service organization. Those who cannot obtain a referral may also refer themselves, contingent on availability and eligibility. Those supported by the program work with staff to access comprehensive services that prepare individuals for permanent reentry, such as residential services, vocational development and counseling. For more information about specific services, contact the organization directly using the information on this page.
