Resource Information Help for the Disadvantaged & the Disenfranchised - R.I.H.D. works to improve the effectiveness and fairness of Virginia’s justice system. Their "Mobile Justice Tour" (MJT) is ongoing tour that brings criminal justice reform advocates to various locations around the state where workshops are held to inform, train and encourage participants to work to reduce the level of societal disenfranchisement of the incarcerated, formerly incarcerated and persons with a record in Virginia. They also provide resources to take a trip to faraway Virginia prisons for families of incarcerated people in a cost-efficient manner. They also get legislation passed by the Virginia State Legislature to empower people impacted by the legal system.
