Roark-Sullivan Lifeway Center

Roark-Sullivan Lifeway Center is a nonprofit agency that provides shelter and housing services in the Kanawha Valley of West Virginia area. Roark-Sullivan’s mission is to end chronic and veteran homelessness. To this end, Roark-Sullivan Lifeway Center strives to provide safe, temporary shelter, skill development, and referrals to recovery services to assist individuals in the path to becoming independent and self-sufficient. They offer various shelter homes and housing centers, including emergency shelter, transitional placements, and permanent supportive housing. Giltinan Center is a 60-bed facility for adult men 18 years of age, and older. This facility provides assistance to participants in establishing personal goals, finding employment, saving money, and finding safe and stable permanent housing. Twin Cities Center offers 16 beds to both men and women who are experiencing chronic homelessness and have a persistent mental illness coupled with substance misuse.
