Second Chance Ministries

Second Chance Ministries is a faith-based organization that supports formerly incarcerated individuals during reentry into Campbell County. Their mission is to assist justice-impacted individuals through the reintegration process over the first four months of reentry. Second Chance Ministries hopes to help improve their lives through a metamorphosis of hearts and minds through bible-based teaching and demonstrated acts of kindness. Services include pre-release support and information materials, as well as in-take evaluations to determine the unique needs of each individual. The organization operates a recovery program and also refers participants to local recovery groups that may assist with long-term sober living. Individuals also receive support pursing services from local nonprofit organizations, financial assistance and access to basic necessities. In order to be eligible, individuals must demonstrate whether or not they have access to housing and financial resources, provide documentation of any health requirements and identify transportation needs to pursue treatment and maintain employment.
