SOAR Career Solutions

SOAR Career Solutions is a community based organization working to combat the cycle of poverty through vocational services. The organization offers a combination of employment programs and reentry services to ensure that all community members, including those with criminal convictions, have the best chance at reaching independence. Reentry Services are provided as a voluntary service to all formerly incarcerated individuals and include case management, mentoring, employment services and referrals to community organizations that address the many barriers associated with a cycle of incarceration. Additionally, SOAR Career Solutions offers a Reentry Group, which acts as a social support network and meets once each week. During weekly meetings, participants connect with other formerly incarcerated individuals, share a meal and develop positive peer relationships. The group also plans activities outside the weekly meetings to further reinforce the importance of a peer network.
