St. Louis Alliance for Reentry (STAR)

Description

St. Louis Alliance for Reentry (STAR) supports incarcerated individuals exiting the Missouri corrections system with reentry into the community. Their mission is to combine successful intervention models and practices to promote collaborative partnerships that foster self-sufficiency for justice-impacted people, reduce recidivism, ensure community safety and in St. Louis and the surrounding areas. STAR works in partnership with community organizations and individual members to advocate for the necessary services to help formerly incarcerated individuals with successful reintegration and permanent reentry into the community. Through a combination of public presentations, training resources and policy advocacy, they actively work to disrupt the cycle of incarceration for Missouri residents.
