St. Vincent De Paul Mission of Bristol, Inc.
Description
St. Vincent de Paul's Mission of Bristol is an emergency shelter that has served the community for nearly forty years. Since its founding in 1984, the organization has provided services to men, women and children experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. The shelter is able to support up to 24 bed shelters at one time, and all individuals have access to food services during their stay. Additionally, St. Vincent de Paul provides case management and referral services, connecting community members with local organizations that can support them on their pathway to self-sufficient living. The goal of the organization is to eliminate homelessness in the community through mentorship, compassion and targeted services that address the underlying causes of chronic housing insecurity. Individuals may request referrals to long term housing centers, treatment centers and/or mental health support services.
