Standing In Faith - Restoration & Re-entry is a nonprofit organization in Houston, Texas, that offers community restoration and reentry services. They serve people returning to the community after they have been released from military duties, released from prison or returning from any homeless state. Standing in Faith's mission is to assist individuals with transitioning back to society by being a resource for food, clothing, transitional living, transportation, life skills training, etc. The services offered include: assistance with job search, housing, life skills training, food needs, ID assistance, social security appointments, veteran services appointments and transportation to various appointments where needed. In addition, Standing in Faith offers in-house computer and resume training, connecting to job training, connecting with halfway houses, connecting with transitional housing and connecting to food pantries. They also donate care packets to incarcerated people. These packets include toothpaste, deodorant and soap.
