Stephen’s House
Description
Stephen's House is a nonprofit organization that helps men with challenges faced as they transition out of the criminal justice system. This organization provides support services, personal accountability, life coaching, education, personal and spiritual growth, employment assistance and bible studies. Through a network of welcoming churches, landlords and employers, volunteers and civic agencies, Stephen's House assists men re-entering society. Together, the network supports the individual in creating new boundaries outside the judicial system, overcoming addiction and dependency, maturing spiritually, demonstrating personal responsibility and becoming productive members of the community. At Stephen's House, men are encouraged and taught how to develop new thinking patterns and respond to real life. This is accomplished in many ways and includes working a full-time job outside of Stephen's House, church involvement, and financial integrity. Interested individuals must reach out to Stephen's House directly to learn more about eligibility requirements and more information on their services.
