Teen Challenge of Dakotas (TCD) is a faith-based organization working to help people struggling with drugs, alcohol and other life-controlling issues. TCD offers a four-phase residential program that provides treatment for addiction, depression, criminal activity and similar issues. Four essential components are followed during the first ten months of the program: personal studies, group studies, work studies and individualized mentoring. The Re-Entry phase of the program happens during the last six months of the overall sixteen month program. Local agencies partner with TCD to assist men obtain their GED and find full-time employment. Additionally, staff help the men prepare and maintain a solid financial budget, focus on living a debt free life, and save money for future housing needs. TCD's goal is to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically healthy and spiritually alive.
