The Crossing Outreach Ministry Re-Entry Program
The Crossing Outreach Ministry Re-Entry Program is a faith based organization that supports formerly incarcerated individuals returning to the community. They are working in partnership with Western Reception Diagnostic Correctional Center (WRDCC) and Probation and Parole to provide transitional services for justice involved individuals. The Crossing will soon offer housing for individuals returning to the community who do not have access to a safe, stable living environment. Their program will prioritize individuals with convictions for non-violent offenses who are able to successfully join the workforce after some vocational training. This effort is made possible in part through their collaboration with Habitat for Humanity, who is assisting volunteers and formerly incarcerated individuals as they restore a building that will act as the housing community.
