The Glass Tree is a community organization which provides assistance and support for individuals experiencing housing emergencies. Their goal is to uplift individuals through access to clean, safe living environments so that they can focus their efforts on achieving permanent independence. They believe that one way to disrupt the cycle of recidivism is to ensure that formerly incarcerated individuals have strong opportunities for stable living and proper guidance to help them reintegrate into the community. The Glass Tree Apartment community is available to qualifying individuals who are entering the community after incarceration and those who face barriers to safe living environments due to criminal conviction. All residents of The Glass Tree Apartments benefit from 24-hour surveillance, access to a laundry facility, and a single monthly fee for rent and utilities.
