The Next Door

The Next Door is a treatment program that provides mental health services and expert care for substance use to women in recovery. They aim to empower women for lifetime recovery. The Next Door uses a treatment model based on a 12-step programming, faith, and evidence-based practices to address the needs of the woman's mind, body, and spirit. They serve women impacted by addiction, mental illness, trauma and incarceration. Through a partnership with the Tennessee Department of Correction, The Next Door's Correctional Release Center (CRC), located in Chattanooga, TN, serves 42 adult women who are currently incarcerated. CRC offers individual and group therapy, spiritual development, workforce classes, work release, intensive case management, family enrichment classes, a 12-step meeting and giving back to the community. Additionally, Next Door treats common mental and emotional symptoms that imprisoned women. The Next Door operates two facilities: one is located in Nashville and the other in Chatanooga.
