Volunteers of America Southeast

Volunteers of America Southeast (VOA) is a ministry of service that supports America’s most vulnerable. Serving the entire United States, VOA is committed to helping those in need through faith-based roots in each community. At-Risk Youth are also served through VOA Southeast’s afterschool youth programs and local churches ministering to children in low-income areas. VOASE partners with local businesses to collect school supplies and backpacks. These backpacks are given to children in foster care through the Department of Human Resources. Volunteers of America work with churches throughout the year to assist with needs and ministry opportunities. Providing Christmas gifts to foster children and children of incarcerated parents, Operation Backpack, Scholastic Books for children and youth, assisting with physical and spiritual needs, and responding to disasters are a few ways VOA works with local congregations.
