Wagees Colorado

WAGEES Colorado is a program developed to support justice involved youth and adults during reintegration. They are committed to addressing the problem of over incarceration in Colorado by intervening with individuals at their most vulnerable. According to their research, 6% of all individuals return to prison within a year of release. Servicios de la Raza works to end that cycle and prepare participants for permanent reentry into the community. WAGEES, or Work and Gain Employment and Education Skills, partners with the Department of Corrections to offer support services to formerly incarcerated men and women. They also offer case management and help individuals fulfill the requirements of probation whenever necessary. Men, women and young adults are free to participate in various parts of the program, from job training and certification to acquiring government documentation and entering residential reentry centers.
