Woodmen Valley Chapel Prison Ministry is a faith-based organization who believes in the power of bible-based teaching. Staff and volunteers believe that all individuals should have regular access to mentorship and spiritual guidance. They hold regular services and bible study meetings inside various correctional facilities throughout the state of Colorado. They believe that spiritual healing beings during incarceration, and volunteers assist individuals with permanent behavioral changes that enhance their chances of successful reentry after release. Woodmen Valley Chapel Prison Ministry also provides important aftercare services to formerly incarcerated individuals, many of whom feel frustrated with the barriers they face while reintegrating back into the community. In addition to emotional and spiritual mentorship, the organization helps facilitate concrete services during the reentry process that give individuals the best chance at permanently disrupting the cycle of incarceration.
