Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) is a community based partnership that offers free recruitment and employment services to businesses and job seekers in the Rural Capital Area of Texas. WSCRA's Second Chance Worker Reentry Initiative offers career pathway options to formerly incarcerated people. The Second Chance program introduces at-risk job applicants, such as returning citizens, to local employers while providing skill training and coaching. Employers may self-identify through a Second Chance display emblem that they are open to considering justice-involved applicants for employment within their organization. The WSRCA Business Services Team has identified several Rural Capital Area companies that are ready to be Second Chance Partners and display the program logo in their advertisements. This helps potential employees quickly identify companies willing to hire them. WSRCA serves the nine-county region including Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Llano, and Williamson counties.
