Wyoming Department of Family Services

The Wyoming Department of Family Services is a government organization tasked with providing wraparound services to vulnerable youth and families. The organization offers both assistance programs and support services in order to best serve all families and young people in need. Assistance Programs help connect individuals and families with food pantries, housing and utility assistance, immediate cash support, child care services, and child support services. Families in need of child care can receive assistance locating substitute workers and child care facilities, as well as financial support through the Child Care Subsidy Program. Individuals and families experiencing housing emergencies may be eligible for emergency rental assistance to avoid eviction. They may also receive referrals to the Wyoming Homeless Services Program for more intensive services that address the problem of chronic homelessness.
