Bay Area Chaplains

Bay Area Chaplains is a prison ministry that provides services at correctional facilities in Northern California. They fulfill the spiritual needs of both incarcerated people and staff through a ministry that includes worship services, Bible studies, counseling, discipleship, and literature distribution. They provide pastoral ministry to all the incarcerated people of the Martinez, Marsh Creek, and West County Detention Facilities. They establish, coordinate, and oversee programs of worship, religious study, discipleship and follow-up of incarcerated people and staff. They also provide a Self-Study Bible Course. The Edible Bible Course is a comprehensive study that teaches people how to study the Bible for themselves. Each booklet contains color pictures, charts, and illustrations; which are all designed to help people engage the Scriptures. Their services include Counseling, Discipleship, Death Notification, Family Emergencies, Bible Studies, Worship Services, Clergy Visits, Religious Books, Bibles, Tracts, Marriage Packets and Religious Diets.
