Rock City Reentry Program

Section Title

Rock City Reentry Program

The Rock City Reentry Program serves the Little Rock community through individualized services that reduce recidivism rates. The organization was founded to address the cycle of incarceration and assist individuals with permanent behavioral changes that increase the potential for successful reentry. They do this through job skills training and life development in an effort to promote self-sufficient, independent living. Individuals may enter job training programs in the sectors of culinary arts, construction, commercial driving, or retail work. These sectors are high-need, and training is designed to prepare individuals for immediate, permanent employment opportunities. In addition to job training, Rock City Reentry Program offers support for individuals obtaining high school equivalency diplomas, as well as those in need of legal assistance or ongoing mentorship. They also offer recovery support for those with chemical dependence, mental health counseling and peer coaching from formerly incarcerated individuals. Individuals can contact the program through the website or apply for placement in one of the job training programs using the online application.
