The Cobb County Circuit Defender's Office is located in Marietta, GA. With Public Defenders and Staff Attorneys, this office represents those who cannot afford legal representation in criminal cases in Cobb County. The Cobb County Office also assists in determining the eligibility of those individuals requesting a court-appointed attorney using an application that includes a financial statement of the defendant. An individual must apply for a public defender by completing a detailed financial statement and agreeing to provide documentation concerning income, assets and debts for the person and the person's spouse, if any.
