The Delaware Center for Justice, Inc. is the leading non-profit organization in Delaware committed to transforming the quality of justice through advocacy, policy and practice. DCJ believes it is their individual and collective responsibility to co-create a community that values equity, transparency, safety, and healing. DCJ’s Community Reintegration Services Program uses evidence-based tools to provide case management services for adults reentering the community after incarceration. Their Court of Common Pleas/Victim Restoration & Community Conferencing Program provides those who have been harmed (victims) the opportunity to address those who have caused them harm (offenders) in a safe, structured setting, with the goal of directly holding an offender accountable for their actions while providing important assistance to the victim. DCJ’s Read In, Read Out program links incarcerated parents with their children through the power of storytelling, and their Women In Transition program helps incarcerated women to confront negative thinking and engage positive networks to prevent recidivism.
