Corrections and Offender Re-Entry (CORE) Program

Health Services Center, Inc. is a nonprofit, community based organization and medical clinic providing HIV/AIDS medical care, education and support to East Alabama. Since 1990, Health Services Center has served hundreds of people living with HIV and AIDS, as well as their families. The Health Services Center, Inc. is committed to the provision of quality comprehensive HIV/AIDS services to all HIV infected and affected persons in our service area. Their main office is located in Hobson City, near Anniston. However, they have offices in 14 different counties of Alabama. They offer case management, HIV/AIDS medical care, housing, transportation, prevention/education, substance abuse treatment, and mental health services. This organization offers the correction and offender re-entry program, CORE. This program is an outpatient substance abuse treatment programs for adults 19 years old and older who are recently released into the community from the criminal justice system.
