Return to Work Program Alaska

Description

Return to Work Program Alaska is part of a nonprofit organization, the American King Foundation (AKF), which focuses on justice reform, re-entry and reuniting families throughout the U.S. affected by mass incarceration. AFK advocates for more resources in the community. They provide citizens and their families with economic stability and traditional wellness. Their vision is family restoration. AKF seeks to impact communities by providing collaborative solutions centered around programming tailored specifically for the criminal justice system. AKF offers legislative engagement for Criminal Justice Reform, Communication & Life skills Training, Adult & Juvenile Ministry, Mentor-ship Engagement, King Entrepreneurship Training, and Job & Housing Placement. AKF is looking for hard working men and women to process seafood in Alaska. They have as-needed/seasonal positions available in their land plants in Anchorage, Cordova, Kenai, Togiak, King Salmon/Naknek, and Kotzebue. The work will begin in mid-May to late August/early September. Please get in touch with them directly for more information.
