CTLawHelp
Description
CTLawHelp is an online resource that works hard to help connect community members with legal aid regardless of income. The database combines the efforts of multiple nonprofit organizations who, together, share a mission to improve the lives of the people of Connecticut by expanding access to equitable, affordable legal aid. CTLawHelp separates resources into categories that help users find the answers they need as quickly as possible. They offer self-help resources, as well as a user friendly search function and contact information to request assistance directly from volunteer legal experts. CTLawHelp is also always seeking new attorneys and legal aid advisors who are interested in providing pro bono services to low-income individuals. The organization also maintains a specific set of resources to assist those who face barriers to employment due to criminal records.
