The Haven
The Haven is primarily a substance use disorder facility that also deals with trauma-related issues, life skills, housing, access to healthcare, family reunification, legal issues, employment, mental health and pro-social peer groups. They offer residential treatment services and safe and supportive transitional housing through their sober living program. The Haven provides services to veterans, individuals with little to no income, and those who are justice-involved, homeless or have unstable and unsupportive housing. Their Residential Program also provides individual therapy, case management, weekly family workshops, life skills training, volunteerism, recreation and team building. The Haven's sober living is safe, affordable and located near public transit, which makes it an ideal setting for individuals to live. The sober living program also offers a recovery peer support group. In addition, The Haven's outpatient programs are progress-based, reducing the potential for relapse and ensuring a healthy transition into society.
