Heart of Hannah

Heart of Hannah is a nonprofit organization that provides support services and housing to women and families experiencing homelessness. The Heart of Hannah Women's Center is on a mission to empower and inspire people by offering affordable and safe housing opportunities, and transforming lives by assisting families in crisis and need. The Strengthening Families Program was established for families at risk of substance misuse, homelessness, violence, trauma, and incarceration. Other program services include a safe and supportive environment to secure housing, individualized case management, certification courses, possible job placement, peer education, mentorship, vocational training and counseling. Clients are empowered to identify and achieve personal goals that lead to an independent and self sufficient lifestyle. Eligible program participants are typically sheltered in inadequate private and public shelters, or other residence unfit for human habitation.
