Salvation Army Northern Division Post-Prison Community Reentry

Salvation Army Northern Division Post-Prison Community Reentry

Description

Salvation Army Northern Division Post-Prison Community Reentry supports formerly incarcerated individuals during reintegration. This program, dubbed Aftercare Support, serves individuals in the Twin Cities area who meet certain requirements. While all individuals are eligible for services, those that the reentry program most benefits are: men and women returning to the community after incarceration, adults who are exiting treatment programs, loved ones of those who have recently exited the corrections system, and male residents in one of the local Salvation Army residential programs. The Aftercare Support program functions as a series of regularly scheduled workshops focused on the unique needs of each individual, including targeted support groups for men and women, as well as faith-based services for spiritual healing. The program also helps individuals with reentering the workforce through vocational training and job placement. For more information about specific services, individuals should contact the organization directly using the information on this page.
